Hi! I’m Amy, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Over my 20 year career as a dietitian I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through:

  • My work as a dietitian
  • Time living abroad and participating in development work
  • Raising a family
  • My own hard-to-solve health issues

All of these have helped to shape me into an empathetic provider who can give you the expert guidance you need.

Your body is not just a collection of disjointed parts – it’s a whole unit, all working together! This is why I always take a wholistic approach to my nutrition counseling sessions.

In nutrition counseling sessions with me you have my expert guidance in getting you from restricted diets and not feeling well to eating more freely and feeling good.

When you work with me we always start with a thorough assessment so I can see the whole picture of where you’ve been and what you’ve tried. From there we work collaboratively to make an action plan of steps you can take to get you feeling better and eating freely.

I am passionate about helping people learn to nourish their bodies in a way that leaves them feeling their best (physically, mentally and emotionally).

Empathy

I have a deep understanding of clients’ health struggles through personal experience, recognizing that symptoms can significantly limit their quality of life.

Liberation

I help free people from restrictive dieting patterns and helping them develop a healthier relationship with food beyond just “safe” options.

Wholeness

I view health as more than just managing symptoms, but embracing a comprehensive approach to wellbeing that includes mental and emotional aspects.

Authenticity

I draw from personal health challenges to create genuine connections with my clients and provide realistic, sustainable guidance.
