Have you tried it all, but still feel stuck?
You’re not alone!
The never ending barrage of diets, food rules, apps and social media tricks leave you feeling exhausted and don’t give you what you really need: hope that you can feel better in your body and a clear path for how to get there.

There is hope and better way forward with food.
With personalized nutrition counseling, you get the expert guidance you need to find a new path forward with food – one that leaves you feeling your best.
Areas of specialty

Find the freedom you’ve been looking for
Eat more foods with confidence
Working with a nutrition expert helps you expand your diet safely and confidently. Through our sessions, you’ll learn which foods truly work for your body and how to incorporate new options without anxiety or digestive distress.
Many clients are surprised by how many “off-limits” foods they can actually enjoy again.
Take the anxiety out of eating
Food anxiety can be paralyzing, turning meals into stressful events rather than enjoyable experiences. My approach combines nutrition science with mindfulness techniques to help you develop a peaceful relationship with food. Together we’ll work through fear-based eating patterns and build lasting confidence around meal choices.
Reclaim your life from persistent gut issues
Gut symptoms don’t have to control your life. As a specialist in digestive health, I offer evidence-based strategies to identify triggers, implement gentle nutrition changes, and collaborate with your medical team when needed. My clients often find relief from symptoms that have persisted despite multiple elimination diets or medical interventions.
Become an intuitive eater and say goodbye to dieting
The diet cycle leaves many feeling frustrated and disconnected from their body’s natural hunger and fullness cues. As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I’ll guide you through the principles of Intuitive Eating to develop a sustainable, peaceful relationship with food based on internal wisdom rather than external food rules.
Work with me and feel the difference
Not all nutrition professionals practice with the same approach. For example, I take a weight neutral approach in my counseling sessions. Here are a few other ways that I stand out:
Personalized nutrition counseling
Need help wading through all of the nutrition advice? Want to know what really matters for you? Nutrition counseling with me always begins with a thorough nutrition assessment so I can tailor my approach to you and your specific needs.
Evidence based
When it comes to really changing your health with nutrition, you need evidenced based guidance. I keep up-to-date with the latest research to provide you with the best recommendations.
Holistic approach
The brain, the body and our social situation are all connected and heavily influence each other. Each play a significant role in our health. We’ll take all of this into consideration in our work together.
Empathetic care
Having been through my own complex health journey, with seemingly mysterious symptoms, I know firsthand how hard it can be to navigate healthcare and find relief.

Hi! I’m Amy, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.
I love helping people rediscover the joy of eating while also helping them feel good in their bodies. In nutrition counseling sessions with me you have my expert guidance in getting you from restricted diets and not feeling well to eating more freely and feeling good.
When you work with me we always start with a thorough assessment so I can see the whole picture of where you’ve been and what you’ve tried. From there we work collaboratively to make an action plan of steps you can take to get you feeling better and eating freely.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I work with a dietitian online in California?
Yes, I offer virtual nutrition counseling throughout California. Sessions take place on Zoom and new patient forms, booking and payment happen through my HIPAA compliant patient portal, Healthie.
Who should see a dietitian?
Anyone looking to use dietary changes to improve their health would benefit from working with a dietitian.
In my practice I work with teens and adults. I help people looking for nutrition help with gut health, emotional eating, pre-diabetes, heart health and anti-inflammatory eating.
Should I see a dietitian or a nutritionist?
When you need expert nutrition guidance, choose to work with a dietitian.
The term “nutritionist” isn’t a regulated term and anyone can use it to describe themselves. The term “Registered Dietitian” (or “Registered Dietitian Nutritionist”) is a regulated term. Only those who have completed specified academic course work, completed a period of supervised practice, passed a national registration examination, and complete ongoing continuing education can be called “Registered Dietitians”.
Dietitians are qualified to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, whereas nutritionists are not. Medical Nutrition Therapy is the level of care you need if you are exploring dietary changes to manage a medical diagnosis.
